"When the breath wanders the mind also is unsteady. But when the breath is calmed the mind too will be still, and the yogi achieves long life. Therefore, one should learn to control the breath."
~Hatha Yoga Pradipika
Acro Yoga is a physical practice which combines yoga & acrobatics, according to Wikipedia. If you've ever seen it practiced in person you know that as well as being challenging, it's also extremely beautiful and visually appealing. Personally, it's also envy inspiring - I know that I'm nowhere near bendy enough to attempt most of the poses lol
Photo sessions involving yoga are high on my list of things I love to shoot. When combined with an incredible West coast sunset? Even better! Janelle and Tyver volunteered to make this vision come to life and I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with these two incredible people and create these beautiful images. Magic can be created when you have the right team working together!
Janelle is also a very talented Vancouver Island model! So if you would like to see more from her you should definitely go take a peek at her Facebook page and give it a like :) She has many beautiful images that she has worked with other talented photographers to create!
Her page can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/JanelleLeeModel?fref=ts (Don't forget to come back here to finish checking out the rest of the site!)
